Hyundai Creta will measure under 4.6 metres, the width and height of the MPV will be 1,894 mm and 1,706 mm.Ground clearance of 2020 Creta will be 190 mm while the seating options will be 5 seater as well a 7 seater.Other dimensions will be revealed at the time of launch only.

The design of new creta will be very modern.It will get a number of sporty and sharp exterior elements.Upfront, it will get Hyundai’s signature cascading grille.Sleek LED DRLs will be at the top with the projector headlamps and fog lamp setup below that.The design of 5-seater Creta will be slightly different when compared to 7-seater one.

Creta 7 Seater Engines

Creta 7-seater will be powered by BS-VI compliant engines.It is expected to get a variety of petrol and Diesel engines.However, in 2020, it won’t be getting an electric or hybrid model.The engines will be a twin set of 1.5-litres which will also power the next gen Verna and upcoming Hyundai Styx as well.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine will make 116 BHP of maximum power and 150 NM of torque.The 1.6-litre petrol engine on Creta will be replaced by this new one.Although the figures are slightly low than that of 1.6 L VTVT motor but it will be tuned for better performance. 

While the new 1.5-litre 1499 cc BS-VI compliant engine makes 113 BHP of power and 250 NM of torque.This means that the torque will be declined from 260 NM to 250 NM.This engine will replace the 1.6-litre CRDi engine on present Creta.This new engine is expected to be as powerful and smooth as the outgoing one.

Along with these two engines, Hyundai is also likely to provide a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine derived from Kia motors.This unit will be first seen on Kia SP concept.The power and torque are expected to be 138 BHP and 220 NM.This variant will only be limited to certain models of Creta 2020. 

Hyundai will be providing automatic variant only for the petrol 1.5 Creta at the time of launch.The remaining engines will surely be given new AMT transmission as the the variant also remains in high demand.This version might be receiving a full hybrid variant in the future as well as most of the Hyundai cars are likely to go hybrid/electric.
