Tata Motors India have a number of products in their lineup. They have hatchback, sedans and SUVs as well.As most of the carmakers are shifting towards the electric world, Tata Motors is not ready to stay back.

We expect that the fourth model will be the electric version of Tata Hornbill, the micro SUV which will be showcased at Auto Expo 2020.Talking about Tigor EV, it is still in existence as of now with a range of arrow d 140 km.
However, Tata Motors will bring a facelifted variant of Tigor EV in 2020 in which certain changes will be made. Its range would be increased from 140 km to around 200-250 km.Certain changes would be made to the interior and exterior as well to keep it updated as well as refreshing as we have seen on test a number of times as well.Earlier it was available only for the commercial segment, but now it will be open to sale to the private buyers as well.

Nexon electric will be directly rivalling the likes of Mahindra XUV 300 EV which will come with a massive range of around 400 km.But it will be around 1-2 Lakhs premium over Nexon. All the automakers are eyeing an electric SUV for Indian market.Take Hyundai Kona which comes with excellent range with MG and other brands in race to bring their EVs.
These electric vehicles will be featuring lithium ion battery and they are expected to offer AC and DC fast charger which could juice up 80% of the battery in around 60 minutes.Active steps are made for the quick shift to electric world.More and more infrastructure for charging EVs is being setup, also GST on electric vehicles has come down from 12% to 5% and that on the electric battery from 18% to 5%.
The Hornbill EV is expected to be the fourth electric car for car makers.Fuel powered Hornbill will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 along with its electrified version.Since Hornbill will be priced in India between Rs. 4 Lakhs and Rs. 6 Lakhs, Hornbill EV is expected to be priced in India under 10 Lakhs. While the fuel powered Hornbill will go on sale in India in the later part of 2020, its electric variant will be launching in India in early 2021.
